"Useless facts" @ 12:19 AM
Jenna asked, out of sheer randomness, a very baffling question during dinner which got me thinking really hard. So hard in fact that the first thing I did when I came home earlier was to Google the answer out. She asked what penguins drink, which made me realize that I've never given what penguins drink a thought in my life before.
So this is what WikiAnswers has got to say in response:
Penguins drink any water they can get access to - fresh or salt. When ashore they will drink fresh water from pools and streams and can sometimes be seen drinking water preened off their backs during rain showers. At sea penguins must drink salt water and they are able to do this because they have special glands abound the eye sockets that extract excess salt from the blood. The excess salt is excreted as a salty fluid through the nasal passages.
Another randomly useless fact, is that roughly 3% of all the ice in the South Pole are contributed by penguins and their massive efforts in toilet duty.
And while I'm at it I have to say this too, just in case Wilson reads this. The big red dog's name is Clifford, thank you very much, (Yes I Googled this too =P) and NOT PAUL.

See the name on his dog house??
There you have it folks. A good 5 minutes of you life wasted away with useless facts reading this. I hope it was worth it.
