"reviving this place" @ 2:28 PM
Indeed it has been a long time, any longer and this blog will be as good as abandoned. I still enjoy blogging, somewhat, so I'll be writing till the day I am bored of blogging. =)
I'm at the AFS office now after having a hearty lunch with Paul, Mathias and Syant. It was good, really we should do this more often! Now that I've had lunch and ice cream, there's some work to be done. In between blogging and Facebook-ing, of course.
Much has happened for the past month or so that I've been inactive online. Most of them were pleasant memories I'll be keeping to heart for a very long time, some I'm still struggling to let go and move on. Of the many things, I'll miss the Puchong CG on Friday nights most. It has been an interesting few months, but each season has its end, and when my parents gave the ultimatum it was indeed the end.
I made a compromise and had hoped for the best. However the best has yet to come.
I'll overcome it somehow, somehow. =)
Uni starts in a week's time! Already I can feel the time constraint pressing me down. There is so much to achieve, yet so little time on hand. No more holidays to bum around. While I look forward to a new semester which I have promised myself to remain optimistic about, I'm going to have to learn some serious proper time management to keep afloat. I need to be stricter with myself to aim nothing below a 3.0 GPA! I'm dedicated to not dislike any of the lecturers this year, especially the boring old sods, and also to quit skipping lectures ever so often *chuckles*
2009 has filled me with lots of new responsibility, greatly appreciated yet worry-some.
Like, there's many plans to expand our AFS Japanese Exchange of Diverse Individuals Alumni now. I'm very excited about it, but man its really alot of work, what with it being in between studies and everything else AFS. @___@;; Once we've set up the Alumni with a strong foundation of volunteers running the show, we'll hopefully be officially launching the alumni at the Japanese Embassy. We need more people coming in to help, so that I may delegate my load of work off my back onto theirs. 8D
Whoops. I guess its about time to leave for home now. I need to get my passport photo taken, walk the dog, email newsletters, email everyone else, set up a blog, set up a forum, watch my animes, watch Nodame, download stuff, wash my sport shoes, fetch my sister and re-configure my laptop's driver.
See, who said I'm spending the day bumming around? Haha.
