"season of hope" @ 9:14 PM
Christmas this year was a bittersweet flavor.
Felt like I have been cradled in a snug cacoon for far too long, that when my safety net of naivity finally tore I was utterly, dejectatedly, lost with the feeling of helplessness.
For the first time it hit me personally to realization, being a steadfast Christian is not all fun and merry laughter. There will be times of devastations too. That the promises sung in songs of worship are worth nothing until you do it, mean it for real. Else they really are nothing but beautiful lyrics.
Being a steadfast Christian means trusting in God during the painful seasons too. Placing faith in Him, knowing that He is good and will remain faithful by our side as we overcome our sorrows.
Tests of faith.
Let us not forget, this is the season of Hope. I pray that each and everyone of us finds that hope, and cling on to it evermore.
