"「愛しい」" @ 10:59 PM
「愛しい」
昔、 これを何と読んでいたか知てるか?
平安文学では「悲しい」とよませてといたそうだ。
愛とは元々、 悲しいものかもしれん
"Itooshii" (beloved / love)
Do you know how this word was read in the past?
During the Heian period, this word was read as "Kanashii" (sad)
Love is probably a sad thing to begin with. It was the opening conversation in the Zettai Kareshi live action series that I'm currently following. I went like "SOU DAYO! SOU DAYO!!!!!!" *biting into pillow with tears flowing* watching it, haha.
Been spending more alone time these days, since there's only Joon, Cherry and I staying in TTDI now but the both of them rarely return home early. It feels pretty nice and serene. The entire neighborhood is eeriely quiet regardless the time of day, one almost never hear vehicles driving past and chirping birds in the morning actually do exist. However there's this guy from the house right behind my room who practises his drumming rather regularly. He's always playing that one same beat, over and over again, which drove me nuts for awhile.
Now that I'm back spending the weekend in KL, I actually quite miss the unending beats =D
I think I want to get a guinea pig or two.
So at least I'll have a companion in my room in TTDI. It can get pretty depressing having no one else to talk to sometimes. Good idea. Y/N?
