"Arrival Camp SH08" @ 10:10 PM

You will know that it’s a very dumb idea to have too much sugar in a day when you just cannot sleep late at night. You will also know that watching a damn psychotic movie the same night with sick minded company only makes things worst – especially if you’re the only one awake in a dead looking room afterwards.

OMG SAW II IS SUCH A SICK SICK SHOW WE SHOULD JUST FIND THE SICK SCRIPTWRITERS AND JUST DIG THEIR BRAINS OUT. ORZ

*headdesks*

...I actually finished watching the entire show. From beginning till the end. The huge pillow wasn’t much of a help….. ahh..the syringe part is eating my eyeballs now. I dunno why but I keep recalling that particular part and ugghhhh…. I feel sick =A=’’

So this is how my Arrival Camp SH08 volunteering ends huh. Swt. Awesome.

Basically, it is about 4.00am in the morning now. I am so paranoid right now I doubt I can nap much later either…. I’m just blogging to tire myself out. Actually I have to be awake by 7.30am anyway. Morning call duty. =___=’’ Maybe I should just stay awake. 3 hours from now I’ll probably regret doing so though. Ah well.

Ok. So Arrival Camp SH08. New batch of AFS-ers. They are so cute!!!! *omgomgs* Funny how they always seem so lovable in the arrival camps and then by mid-year camp you just want to strangle most of them to the death. XD Anyway, yes they are really cute. I took charge of the 6 Japanese, with 2 boys and 4 girls. Luckily this time, they all have a pretty decent English skills, and are so (I cannot stress on this more) much more sociable and open-minded compared to my previous batch. *very satisfied* All the Japanese girls are SO CUTE *o*;; There’s a German boy that just about everyone mistook for a girl (cause he has relatively long hair, fair skin and a damn shota face and figure… combine it all you get the picture)

So….shota-ish. Bi-kei…to iiun dayo na?

*headdesk*

Friday I arrived in Singgahsana Hotel, met up with half the students that have already arrived, the other volunteers… then got dragged to KLIA by Kuhan and Johannes to pick up the Japanese and the Germans. Getting stuck with Johannes and Kuhan together, is such a cheek hurting experience. Hehe… *Note to self here : Shotgun ringtones for SMS in an airport is probably the dumbest idea ever*…then AFS “belanja makan” dinner so we had sad Burger King meals while watching the plane runway. I even bought chocolates from Famous Amos that I still haven’t had the chance to munch on until now. That was 2 days ago! Know how much willpower that takes?!!! Even the rest are amazed that I am surviving this camp without the magical help of chocolates. Later wards, we picked up the students we separated into 3 vans and headed back to the hotel. Each of us took lead in each van.

3 vans. 12 wheels. In case of a tire puncture the odds are 1/12? And it just *had* to happen to Johannes. They were stuck on the freeway for more than an hour half just waiting for my van to drop us off at the hotel, make a u-turn t2o pick them up and drop them back at the hotel. I must have been on crack pretty bad then. When Johannes was on the phone telling me about their predicament all I was doing was laughing my head off. It comes to a sadistic point where anything shitty that happens to him is just so funny. (sorry Johannes) But yea la, pity the students. =D

Oh my mother!! There was a light knock on my room door just a second ago… arrr… I am scared to go look. T___T *shit scared now*

……….

….

Day 2 on Saturday was a really long day. My motivation to orientate slipped here and there because the students themselves were extremely zombie-like. Plus the fact that I did not have chocolate at all to help sustain myself actually. Anyway.I doubt I’ve ever seen a more passive batch then them. Heck it actually made my own ’06 batch look good…. Which is really pitiful cause my batch…. Oh boi we just sucked…. Let’s not even go there. We actually MADE volunteers never want to volunteer again with AFS =__=’ Overall they’re good. Once again I find it tasking to remember their names, even though by now it’s already Day 2. I phail as a volunteer. I know. ;____; Also I have finally found the motivation in me to present myself to the KL Chapter as a volunteer under them as well. Kak Gee is now volunteering in the same chapter as well now that she’s left the main office. Pn.Fauziah, head of the KL Chapter is putting me in charge of shota-boi as his Liason Person. I think. Not sure yet gotta double check tomorrow. Shota-boi staying in Batu Caves area omgsodamnfarweihowtobeyourLP

We had Yasmin Yusof, our local celebrity and also official AFS Ambassador come give a short motivational talk to the students. she ought to be sacked Who the hell elected her as ambassador has issues. Very big ones.

End of Day 2, read the above first few paragraphs.

I feel tired now. I think I shall go get some sleep now.

If only my bed wasn’t facing the mirror directly…..
