"Arcade Thefts" @ 8:16 PM
+++This blog post is to serve as a warning to those who frequents the arcade MEGA LEISURE in Sunway Pyramids.
Granted, not many heads there as often as yours truly here and a few of her friends, but it's worth keeping this in mind nonetheless.
+++There's a lurking gang of thieves in the arcade, we're pretty sure of it. I've gotten my handphone stolen there before, a couple of friends had their things go missing there, and just yesterday another friend was badly victimized when his entire bag was stolen.
Now we know this for sure because after having no luck scouting around the arcade we confronted the arcade's management and asked them to check the CCTV. Of course, finding out who the culprits were by then wouldn't help at all, but we just needed to know. The management were pretty helpful, in a sense - the young technician guys there did their best to assist us and together we found the time-frame of the bag being taken and even recognized the culprits.

Gang of 3 lurking thieves in the arcade
2 Malays with relatively dark skin, short hair, averagely short, should usually be wearing a cap
1 suspected Chinese, with long black hair and wide eyes and a samseng look.
The most slap-in-your-face part was that it was only after recognizing the gang of 3 thieves did I realize that we JUST BRISKLY WALKED PAST THEM just before we headed back to the arcade to talk to the management. I could so kick myself at that moment =____=;; Anyway, just as precautions always keep a constant look out for your things while playing any games anywhere. My friend and I had to learn the lesson the hard way though.
In case you were wondering, no this will not discourage me in going there. I'll just be more careful.
The other incident that royally pissed me off was that uncle-manager of the arcade
punya attitude. He is such a for-the-lack-of-a-better-non swearing-word
JERK. He was there the entire time that we were staring at the monitor shuffling through the time frames, with his arms akimbo. And he never uttered a word. Then, just as everything was done, he told off the younger workers there for allowing us two into the management room to have a look at the CCTV. Of course, the poor guy defended himself with a very valid excuse, which was to help us out la. I mean, it's for the benefit of every party - even theirs if they were to keep an eye on potential thieves right? No... that
JERK just HAD to feel as if his authority was challenged. Just because he wasn't around to give permission for us to enter the room, he gave the other guy a hard time. Someone has got to teach that ancient monument a lesson in humanities and humility, not to mention how to get a grip and
SUCK IT UP. Just because you're more senior but they do a better job in running the place doesn't give you a rat's ass right to burn them like that. Well, I wasn't there to witness it though. T'was a pity, else I would have given him a BIG piece of my mind.
Now I have to return to my assignments which I have put off for the past few days. It's all due on Monday morning and I have yet to touch a scratch of it. And I still have to study for my finals T_____T I think I am very screwed.
